OLED display

Colour and precision
by the pixel.

OLED comes to iPad mini. The new Super Retina XDR display delivers deep, vivid colours and incredibly high contrast for your viewing pleasure. With 1,200 nits peak brightness and 1 nit minimum brightness, content is easy on the eyes in any light. Colours are incredibly vivid and accurate, with support for P3 wide colour and True Tone technology that automatically adapts white balance to match ambient lighting. And an optional nano-texture glass finish helps reduce glare even in challenging lighting conditions.

A simply stunning display.

With 24 per cent thinner bezels¹ than the previous iPad mini, the Super Retina XDR display is a more expansive 8.5-inch canvas⁴, making room for all your shows, photos, books and notes.
Brilliant colour, true blacks and remarkable contrast.

OLED technology comes to life on iPad mini — delivering pixel-level lighting control, rich and accurate colours and deeper dynamic range.
Optional nano-texture glass.

Nano-texture display glass scatters ambient light instead of bouncing it back, so you get less glare without losing contrast or colour accuracy. Whether you’re working outside, travelling or creating on the go, what’s on the screen stays clear and readable.
